Abstract
A touchpad device includes a protection layer, a multi-layer touch circuit board, an adhesive layer, and a pressure sensing element. The adhesive layer is disposed between the protection layer and the multi-layer touch circuit board. The pressure sensing element is disposed on the multi-layer touch circuit board. One layer of the multi-layer touch circuit board or the adhesive layer has a non-homogeneous material configuration and includes a high deformation region and a low deformation region. The pressure sensing element is connected to or at least partially overlaps a vertically projected range of the high deformation region.
