Abstract

An information processing system includes a first information processing device including a mouse and a second information processing device. The first information processing device performs a first set of operations including periodically acquiring a differential movement amount from its own mouse, accumulating the acquired differential movement amount to calculate an accumulated movement amount, and transmitting the accumulated movement amount to the second information processing device. The second information processing device performs a second set of operations including receiving the accumulated movement amount transmitted from the first information processing device, calculating a differential movement amount from the received accumulated movement amount and the previously received accumulated movement amount, and executing an application program that uses the differential movement amount of the mouse of the first information processing device.
