Abstract

The disclosure relates to a computer-implemented method for executing a custom logic in a OPC Unified Architecture, OPC UA, server (20), the method comprises: - obtaining (S21), by an input interface (1), the custom logic of an OPC UA client (10), wherein the custom logic comprises a custom code and respective metadata, wherein the metadata comprise a definition of inputs and outputs of the custom logic; - determining (S22), by a code loader unit (2), at least one OPC UA method (M) based on the obtained custom logic; - invoking (S23), by an invoking unit (3), the at least one OPC UA method (M) for execution by an execution environment (4).
