Abstract

Embodiments of the present disclosure provide an electrode assembly including a plurality of positive electrode plates each of which including a positive electrode substrate, a positive electrode active material layer provided on a side of the positive electrode substrate, and a positive electrode uncoated portion where the positive electrode active material layer is not provided. Further, the electrode assembly includes a plurality of negative electrode plates, at least one separator interposed between each of the positive electrode plates and each of the negative electrode plates, and blocking members inserted into one of the positive electrode plates and the negative electrode plates.
