Abstract

An aerosol-generating device comprising: a heating unit for heating an aerosol source; a contact sensor for detecting a user action on a predetermined part of a housing surface; a haptic device; and a processor for implementing a function to control heating of the aerosol source by the heating unit, and a function to control output of the haptic device, wherein the processor controls the output of the haptic device by switching said output in accordance with content which is notified.
