Abstract

A method (100) for ECG calibration, comprising: obtaining (120), while a body of an individual is positioned in a first posture, both: (i) first posture data from a posture component (280); and (ii) first ECG data from an ECG monitor (290); obtaining (130), while the body of the individual is positioned in a second posture different from the first posture, both: (i) second posture data from the posture component; and (ii) second ECG data from the ECG monitor; extracting (140), from the first ECG data, a plurality of first ECG waveforms; extracting (150), from the second ECG data, a plurality of second ECG waveforms; generating (160), from the extracted plurality of first ECG waveforms, a first ECG waveform baseline; generating (170), from the extracted plurality of second ECG waveforms, a second ECG waveform baseline; and reporting (180) one or both of the first ECG waveform baseline and the second ECG waveform baseline.
