Abstract
A recording apparatus (100) includes: a casing (602); a recording portion (3) configured to perform recording on a recording material; a liquid supply portion (410) disposed on a side of a front surface of the casing, the liquid supply portion being configured to supply liquid to the recording portion by being connected to a liquid container (430) configured to store the liquid; and a reading unit (600, 600a) disposed on the side of the front surface of the casing and configured to perform reading from a document at a reading position, the reading unit being rotatable about a rotation center of a cover shaft (600X) extending in a first direction between an open position at which the reading position is opened and a closed position at which the reading position is covered, wherein the liquid supply portion and the reading unit are disposed so as to partially overlap each other in the first direction.
