Abstract

The present invention relates to a cylindrical container (10) comprising cellulosic material, wherein the cylindrical container (10) comprises a body portion (50) having a first end (30) and a second end (40), wherein the first end (30) comprises a first closure (34) and the second end (40) comprises a second closure (93), wherein the first closure (34) is sealed to the first end (30), wherein the second closure (93) and a lid wall (92) are part of a removeable lid (90), wherein the second closure (93) is sealed to the lid wall (92) in the second end (40), wherein the removable lid (90) comprises cellulosic material, characterised in that the first closure (34) is sealed to the first end (30) by ultrasonic sealing, wherein the ultrasonic sealing seals a plurality of layers of cellulosic material, preferably two or three layers of cellulosic material, to form a first seal, or wherein the second closure (93) is sealed to the lid wall (92) by ultrasonic sealing, wherein the ultrasonic sealing seals a plurality of layers of cellulosic material, preferably two or three layers of cellulosic material, to form a second seal, or combinations thereof.
