Abstract
A fan assembly includes a base including a first portion and a second portion pivotable relative to the first portion between a first position and a second position. The first portion is configured to support the fan assembly on a support surface. The fan assembly further includes a housing coupled to the second portion of the base. The housing includes a shroud that at least partially defines an airflow chamber, and the housing is configured to oscillate about an oscillation axis relative to the second portion of the base. When the second portion of the base is in the first position, the oscillation axis is oriented perpendicular to the support surface, and when the second portion of the base is in the second position, the oscillation axis is oriented parallel to the support surface.
