Abstract

A battery pack detection device and a battery pack detection method. The battery pack detection device comprises: a gantry truss (1), a first camera set (2), second camera sets (3), and a processor. The gantry truss (1) comprises a first frame (12) and a second frame (11), wherein the first frame (12) comprises first support beams (121), and a first linear element (42) is provided on the first support beams (121); and the second frame (11) comprises second support beams (111), and a second linear element (52) is provided on the second support beams (111). The first camera set (2) is slidably arranged on the first linear element (42) in a second direction, and is used for capturing top surface images of a battery pack. Two opposite second camera sets (3) each are slidably arranged on the second linear element (52) in the second direction, the second camera sets (3) are rotatably connected to the second linear element (52) around a third direction, and the second camera sets (3) are used for capturing side surface images and end surface images of the battery pack. The processor is used for receiving the top surface images, the side surface images, and the end surface images, and detecting the appearance of the battery pack on the basis of the top surface images, the side surface images, and the end surface images.
