Abstract

A computer-implemented method (100) for updating a hierarchy (3) of asset information models (3a-3c) relating to industrial assets (2) of an industrial plant (1), comprising the steps of:• determining (110) whether, in a repository (4) of documents (4a-4c) relating to one or more of the industrial assets (2), one or more documents (4a-4c) have been added or changed;• providing (120), to a generative machine learning model, GMLM (5):∘ the one or more added or changed documents (4a-4c) or any part thereof; and∘ context information (3#) relating to the hierarchy (3) of information models (3a-3c);• determining (130), from the so-obtained output (5a) of the GMLM (5), one or more affected information models (6) for which the one or more added and/or changed documents (4a-4c) are relevant;• determining (140), based at least in part on the one or more added or changed documents (4a-4c), one or more changes (7) to be made to the at least one affected information model (6); and• applying (150) the so-determined one or more changes (7) to the at least one affected information model (6).
