Abstract

The present disclosure provides a computer-implemented method of optimizing simulation parameters for driving environment simulation, including: obtaining a first set of data of a driving environment; generating, by at least one environment recognition algorithm, at least one environment model based on the first set of data; generating a resimulation model based on the at least one environment model; generating, by a simulator and the at least one environment recognition algorithm, a resimulated environment model based on the resimulation model, wherein the simulator uses the simulation parameters; comparing the resimulated environment model with at least one environment model; and updating the simulation parameters of the simulator based on the comparison to upgrade the driving environment simulation, or performing a sensitivity analysis to determine one or more simulation parameter which influence the comparison the most.
