Abstract

Systems and methods are provided for monitoring aeronautical data onboard an aircraft for inconsistencies. The systems include a communication system, a media system, and a controller configured to receive aeronautical data from at least two sources, wherein the aeronautical data includes information indicative of statuses of one or more aeronautical elements, parse the aeronautical data to generate parsed aeronautical data having the information contained therein having matching formats, identify statuses of the one or more aeronautical elements as indicated by each of the sources, compare the statuses, detect an inconsistency between the statuses of a first aeronautical element, and generate, on the media system, an alert in response to detecting the inconsistency between the statuses of the first aeronautical element.
