Abstract
A preformed, bobbin-less coil assembly device including a core (22) with a first side, a preformed coil (12) having a plurality of turns, a first insulator (5) positioned in a clearance space between a radial inner surface of the first radial side of the plurality of preformed coils (12) and the core (22), and a mounting clamp (6) . The mounting clamp (6) includes a clamp band, a clamp spring, and a first end of the mounting clamp.
