Abstract

A battery system with a thermal management architecture is disclosed that enables selective thermal regulation across multiple independent zones of a battery cell arrangement. The system includes a plurality of thermal regulation zones defined within the periphery of the battery cell structure. A thermal exchange media, such as a dielectric coolant, is selectively routed through these zones using independently controllable inlet and outlet ports connected to flow control manifolds. This enables targeted cooling based on real-time or predicted thermal demands in specific battery regions.
