Abstract

Embodiments of the present disclosure relate to support of timeout-based out-of-order (OOO) frame delivery. In an example method, a device collects recovery time intervals of missing and erroneous frames over time; calculates a distribution of the recovery time intervals of the missing and erroneous frames; and obtains mapping of queues capable of OOO frame delivery by assigning at least one timeout value to at least one queue capable of OOO frame delivery based on the distribution of the recovery time intervals and a number of the at least one queue.
