Abstract
Embodiments of the present disclosure provide a solution for MAC CE security protection. In a solution, an apparatus receives or transmits a MAC message including at least one MAC PDU. A MAC PDU of the at least one MAC PDU at least includes: a MAC CE, SDU, and protection related information of the MAC message. The MAC CE SDU includes a payload part, and at least the MAC CE SDU and the protection related information are integrity protected.
