Abstract

The present application provides a secondary battery and a preparation method therefor, and an electric device. The secondary battery comprises a positive electrode sheet, the positive electrode sheet comprises a positive electrode active material and an additive, the positive electrode active material comprises a base material and a coating layer at least partially covering the base material, the coating layer comprises a lithium-supplementing material or a reducing material, the additive comprises a lithium-supplementing material or a reducing material, and the coating layer and the additive do not simultaneously comprise a lithium-supplementing material and do not simultaneously comprise a reducing material. The secondary battery has excellent cycle performance and long service life.
