Abstract
A battery, a pressure control unit, a battery pack, an electric device, and an energy storage device. The battery comprises a housing assembly, at least one battery cell, and at least one pressure control unit. The battery cell is accommodated in the housing assembly, and the battery cell comprises an electrode assembly stacked in a first direction. The pressure control unit is accommodated in the housing assembly, and at least when the battery cell swells, the pressure control unit applies an action force to the battery cell to control the stress on the surface of the swollen battery cell. The pressure control unit is configured such that the size of the pressure control unit in the first direction can change as the battery cell swells.
