Abstract
A quality-factor determination apparatus 1 used in a batch production facility that has setup calculation and dynamic control functions. The quality-factor determination apparatus 1 includes a processor 30. The processor 30 obtains first classification information based on an in-batch operational fluctuation range calculated based on operational performance data and a first threshold calculated based on the operational performance data, and obtains second classification information based on an in-batch representative operating value calculated based on the operational performance data and a second threshold calculated based on the operational performance data. Upon obtaining a first determination result, the processor 30 causes the first threshold to be presented as an allowable value of the operational fluctuation range to be suppressed by the dynamic control, and upon obtaining a second determination result, the processor 30 causes the second threshold to be presented as an optimal setting value in the setup calculation.
