An adjustment apparatus for a forage harvester is disclosed. In a forage harvester a shear bar is adjustably mounted on a housing. A chopper drum is supported from the housing and mounted for rotation about an axis and further provided with a plurality of circumferentially spaced knife supports to which at least one chopper knife can be adjustably secured. In use the chopper knives cooperate with the shear bar to chop incoming crop. The adjustment apparatus comprises a lateral element, at least one location element and at least one radially inwardly directed guide surface. The adjustment apparatus further comprises at least one shear bar alignment surface provided on one or more of the at least one location elements. |

A harvesting reel includes a reel frame and a rotating assembly. The reel frame includes two cam assemblies and a cover. The first cam assembly defines a first cam track, and the second cam assembly defines a second cam track. The rotating assembly carries a plurality of reel bats configured to revolve around the longitudinal axis of the rotating assembly and a plurality of reel tines fixed to each reel bat. Each reel bat is coupled to a first cam follower and a second cam follower. The first cam follower of each reel bat travels within the first cam track, the second cam follower of each reel bat travels within the second cam track, and a position and an orientation of each reel bat are defined by the cam tracks. Methods of changing the trajectory of reel tines by exchanging the cam assemblies are also disclosed. |

A control unit (32) is provided for controlling a height of the connections (12, 14) above a ground surface, such that if the height (50) of the rear connection (14) is determined to deviate from a predetermined value (60), the control unit (32) causes the height (50) of the rear connection (14) to be adjusted towards the predetermined value (60). |

The present invention relates to a binding material storage apparatus (2) comprising a rotary magazine for storage of a plurality of rolls (90) of binding material supported for rotation about a horizontal axis between first and second side elements (6,8). The magazine is rotatable between a plurality of discrete positions including a dispense position. The magazine includes first and second end plates (12,14) between which a plurality of support elements (20) extend, each of them being mounted for free rotation within the magazine. At each of the plurality of discrete positions a spindle (50) is mounted for free rotation within the second end plate (14) which also supports an electrically controlled braking gear (70). Each spindle is connected to an associated support element and an associated gear element (52), being engaged by the braking gear in the dispense position to control the support element's speed of rotation. |
