A vehicle comprising an internal combustion engine, an exhaust system for discharging exhaust gasses from the internal combustion engine, an exhaust after treatment system for treating exhaust gasses from the internal combustion engine , and an exhaust tract connecting the internal combustion engine to the exhaust after treatment system for transferring exhaust gasses from the internal combustion engine to the exhaust after treatment system, the exhaust tract (5) comprising a first exhaust tube (6) connected to the internal combustion engine, a second exhaust tube (7) connected to the exhaust after treatment system, and a flexible tube (8) interconnecting the first and the second exhaust tube (7), the exhaust tract (5) comprising an inner tube (9, 9') having a first inner tube end (10) and a second inner tube end (11), the first inner tube end (10) being connected to an inner side (8A) of the first exhaust tube (6), the second inner tube end (11) being arranged at a position inside the flexible tube (8) and being spaced from an inner side (8A) of the flexible tube (8), the first inner tube end (10) having a larger diameter than the second inner tube end (11), the inner tube (9, 9') comprising a conical wall portion (12) extending from the first inner tube end (10), the conical wall portion (12) being provided with perforations (13), the exhaust after treatment system further comprising a reduction agent injector upstream of the flexible tube (8), whereby the inner tube (9, 9') comprises a cylindrical tubular section (15) extending from a downstream end of the conical wall portion (12) to the second inner tube end (11), the free end of the cylindrical tubular section (15) forming the second inner tube end (11), and in that the flexible tube (8) is slanted in a downwards direction. The upper portion of the free end of the cylindrical tubular section (15) comprises a guiding surface directed downwards which provides heating up the lower part of the inner wall for reducing deposition of the reducing agent thereon.

A road vehicle has a vehicle battery at least comprising a first and a second battery module and a chassis comprising a first and a second elongate chassis beam, wherein the first and the second battery module are arranged on a respective outer surface of the first and second elongate chassis beam, respectively. A battery mounting system is present which for each of the first and second battery module comprises a front and a posterior bracket mounted to and projecting from the outer surface of the respective elongate chassis beam. The front and posterior brackets are spaced apart for receiving a battery box of the respective module and an elongated cross beam is connected between the front and posterior brackets of the first and second battery module on a respective side of the first and second elongate chassis beams. At least one of the elongated cross beams comprises a first inner chassis beam attachment portion for connecting the elongated cross beam to an inner side of the first elongate chassis beam and a second inner chassis beam attachment portion for connecting the elongated cross beam to an inner side of the second elongate chassis beam.

A variable geometry turbine (VGT) comprising an intake channel, a rotor, an adjustable nozzle, a nozzle actuator, and a controller. The controller comprises a calibration routine, arranged for calibrating the VGT during normal operation thereof. In the calibration routine, the controller is arranged for performing the steps of:- adjusting the adjustable nozzle from an initial position towards a closed position, while monitoring a pre-turbine pressure;- detecting a deflection point position of the adjustable nozzle at which a sharp difference in the pre-turbine pressure occurs; and- adjusting a minimum cross sectional area in the closed position, to adjust a working range of the VGT in dependence of varying operating conditions, wherein the working range excludes the detected deflection point position.

According to the invention, a truck or tractor semi-trailer combination comprises an electrical driveline, an electric energy storage battery system, hydrogen storage system and a plurality of fuel cell devices. Each fuel cell device comprises a charge generating portion; and one or more auxiliary portions auxiliary to the charge generating portion. The truck is provided with a pair of elongated chassis beams extending along the length of the truck, wherein a storage space is defined between the chassis beams; a front side cross beam laterally extending across the chassis beams; and a rear side cross beam. At least one storage unit is provided that houses a fuel cell device, comprising one or more mounts for suspending said storage unit relative to the chassis beams. The storage unit further comprises an interface module for coupling an air supply duct, an hydrogen supply duct and a water drain duct. The storage unit has a top part extending between the chassis beams in said storage space; and a bottom part extending below the chassis beams and extending at least on one side laterally across the chassis beams.

A bracket for clamping an injector onto a cylinder head of an internal combustion engine, comprising a clamp section, arranged for providing a clamping force onto the injector to clamp the injector onto the cylinder head; a mount section, extending from the clamp section and arranged for mounting the bracket to the cylinder head adjacent the injector; and a support section, extending from the mount section opposite the clamp section and arranged for supporting the bracket onto the cylinder head at a lever distance from the clamp section, to define the clamping force; wherein the support section comprises a plurality of support elements, each of said support elements arranged at a different lever distance, such that a selected support element from the plurality of support elements engages, in use, with the cylinder head at a selected lever distance, such that the bracket is supported on the selected support element only, to control a magnitude of the clamping force.
