To provide a stepping motor which can precisely and reliably detect stopping of a rotor with respect to a stopper with a simple structure, i.e., positioning of a base point of the rotor, and provide a motorized valve using it. The stepping motor includes a stator 55 and a rotor 57 rotationally driven by the stator 55, and a detection rotor 47 detecting a rotation position of the rotor 57. The detection rotor 47 is rotatably disposed on a co-axial center L with the rotor 57 and rotationally driven via a rotation drive mechanism between the rotor 57 and the detection rotor 47. The rotation drive mechanism has a drive play having a predetermined length or angle in the rotation direction. |

An expansion valve has a valve main body 10, a valve member 40, and a power element 100. The power element 100 includes a diaphragm 130 sandwiched between an upper cover member 110, and a receiving member 120. Outer peripheries of the upper cover member 110, the diaphragm 130, and the receiving member 120 are joined by laser welding. The distance from a fulcrum position of the diaphragm 130 to an outer periphery of the power element 100 is set to be a distance obtained by adding 0.2 mm to 1.0 mm to the length dimension of the welding part formed by laser welding. The assembled power element 100 is inserted into a cylindrical part 12 provided at an upper part of a valve main body 10, and is fixed by a caulking part 12a formed by caulking-processing, thereby to reduce the size of the power element 100. |

Provided is a flow control valve that can effectively reduce the generation of noise due to fluctuations in the pressure or a refrigerant separation phenomenon that may occur while a refrigerant passes through the valve orifice, and also reduces the pressure loss and the like. The flow control valve includes a valve body 5 including a valve chamber 6 and a valve orifice 10; and a valve element 30 with a curved surface portion 33 adapted to change the flow rate of a fluid through the valve orifice 10 in accordance with the lift amount of the valve element 30, the curved surface portion 33 having a curvature or a control angle that is increased continuously or in stages toward the tip end of the curved surface portion 33. The orifice diameter of the valve orifice 10 is sequentially increased in four or more stages in a direction away from the valve chamber 6. Further preferably, V2 > V4 > V3 > V1, where the volumes of the first valve orifice portion 11, the second valve orifice portion 12, the third valve orifice portion 13, and the fourth valve orifice portion 14 are V1, V2, V3, and V4, respectively. |
