Techniques are described for selecting paths in accordance with service level agreements. For example, spoke and hub routers may advertise routes associated with virtual routing and forwarding (VRF) instances mapped to service level agreements (SLAs). A virtual route reflector of an intermediate router may receive route advertisements and may add respective path communities associated with particular links selected based on link state measurements in accordance with the SLAs. The hub or spoke routers may receive the route advertisements including a respective path community and install the selected path as a next-hop for a given SLA. In this way, spoke and hub routers may forward traffic on links that satisfy particular SLAs such that Quality of Experience (QoE) for an application may be restored or improved. |

The network device may update, each time a UDP packet is received, a first packet counter to account for a total number of UDP packets to which the first firewall filter has been applied. The network device may provide each UDP packet to another network device. The other network device may update a second packet counter. The network device and the other network device may provide the first packet counter and the second packet counter to a server device to cause the server device to determine packet loss information for the IP session. |

In general, techniques are described for automated network device model creation using randomized test beds. A device comprising a processor may be configured to perform the techniques. The processor may generate, based on simulation configuration files, configuration objects for performing a plurality of simulation iterations with respect to the network device operating within a test environment. Each of the simulation iterations may be configured to randomly assign parameters within the test environment. The driver may conduct, based on the configuration objects, each of the simulation iterations within the test environment to collect simulation datasets representative of operating states of the network device. The analytics module may perform machine learning with respect to each of the simulation datasets to generate a model that predicts, responsive to configuration parameters, an operating state of the network device when configured with the configuration parameters for the network device. |

A network device may forward fragments of an IPv4 network packet to an IPv6 network without reassembling the IPv4 network packet. When the network device receives the fragment that includes the indication of the destination port of the IPv4 network packet, the network device may encapsulate each fragment of the fragment flow that it has received into respective IPv6 network packets to the IPv6 network. |
