A fiber placement apparatus for arraying prepreg tapes in a width direction, and laminating the arrayed prepreg tapes includes first rollers and a second roller. Each of the prepreg tapes is a material of a fiber reinforced plastic. The first rollers feed out the prepreg tapes one by one. The first rollers rotate around first rotation axes. The second roller arrays the prepreg tapes, fed out from the first rollers, in the width direction, and feeds out the arrayed prepreg tapes slidably. The second roller rotates around a second rotation axis lying on a skew position with respect to each of the first rotation axes. At least one first roller of the first rollers is provided with a first position adjustment mechanism configured to adjust a position of the at least one first roller in a first rotation axis direction of the at least one first roller. |

A sealant application apparatus includes a seal gun, a distance meter, a moving mechanism and a controller. The seal gun has a nozzle for discharging sealant toward a fastener. The distance meter is fixed to the nozzle. The distance meter measures a distance from a measurement position to a surface of the sealant. The moving mechanism moves the seal gun relatively to the fastener. The controller controls the moving mechanism and the seal gun. The sealant is started to be discharged out from the seal gun in a state where the nozzle has been positioned to cover the fastener at a position away from a surface of the object by a predetermined distance. Subsequently, the sealant is applied to the fastener under a sealant application condition according to the distance measured by the distance meter while moving the nozzle away from the surface of the object. |

A flight simulation system for performing flight simulation of aircraft models includes a head-mounted display for displaying a virtual reality image of a cockpit including operational interfaces, a haptic device including a touch sensor for detecting a touch location touched by a user and a vibrator for causing a vibration, and a control device including a processor and a memory. The processor execute a process including: performing flight simulation of a model selected by the user; causing the head-mounted display to display the virtual reality image picturing the operational interfaces; when the user touches the haptic device, causing the vibrator to cause a vibration at the touch location; based on coordinate data indicating coordinate locations of the operational interfaces and the touch location, identifying an operational interface corresponding to the touch location; and applying a change based on an operation performed on the identified operational interface to flight simulation. |

A sensor position determination method determines an installation position of an electric field sensor that detects electric field strength generated on a surface of an airframe of an aircraft. The sensor position determination method includes: acquiring the electric field strength at each of candidate positions at determined relative pitch angle and relative roll angle by electrostatic field analysis; repeating the acquisition of the electric field strength at each of the candidate positions by changing at least one of the relative pitch angle and the relative roll angle, each time the at least one of the relative pitch angle and the relative roll angle is changed; and identifying a candidate position having a relatively large variance of the acquired electric field strength, and setting the identified candidate position as the installation position of the electric field sensor. |
