The present application discloses a battery pack, a battery pack assembly, and a power unit. The battery pack includes: a battery housing, wherein a battery module is mounted in the battery housing, and a bottom of the battery module is provided with an explosion-proof valve; a bottom protection plate assembly, including a bottom protection plate component and an explosion-proof valve protection member, wherein the bottom protection plate component is connected to a bottom of the battery housing, the explosion-proof valve protection member is supported between the bottom protection plate component and the battery module, the explosion-proof valve protection member is provided with a hollow cavity and an exhaust hole, the exhaust hole is arranged directly opposite to the explosion-proof valve, the exhaust hole is communicated with at least a part of the hollow cavity, and at least a part of the hollow cavity is adapted to communicate with an external space of the battery pack. In the battery pack according to an embodiment of the present application, the explosion-proof valve can be arranged downwards, the bottom protection plate assembly is arranged to protect the battery pack to a certain extent, thus improving a bottom protection performance of the battery pack, and the explosion-proof valve and the exhaust hole are arranged to discharge generated gas, thus reducing a probability of thermal runaway. |

The battery cell heat exchange system includes: battery cell shells arranged in one-to-one correspondence with battery cells, where the battery cell shell has a heat exchange channel arranged on at least one side of the battery cell, for introducing a heat exchange medium, and along a flow direction of the heat exchange medium, two ends of the heat exchange channel are formed as a first inlet portion and a first outlet portion. By designing the heat exchange channel corresponding to at least one side of the battery cell on the battery cell shell, the heat exchange medium can flow on the at least one side of the battery cell, improving heat exchange effectiveness and efficiency. |

A homogenization method for a positive electrode material, comprising the following steps: S1, uniformly mixing a binder and a solvent, so as to obtain a first adhesive solution; S2, separately performing electrification treatment on a positive electrode active material and a conductive agent, so as to obtain a positive electrode active material having a same type of charge and a conductive agent having a same type of charge; S3, carrying out ultrasonic treatment and stirring treatment sequentially on the first adhesive solution, a conductive paste and the conductive agent having the same type of charge, so as to obtain a second adhesive solution; S4, uniformly mixing the positive electrode active material having the same type of charge, the second adhesive solution and the solvent, so as to obtain a positive electrode paste. The homogenization method for a positive electrode material improves the dispersion effect, reduces particle agglomeration, and can obtain uniform and stable positive electrode pastes. Additionally, the method involves simple steps, requires short time and achieves high efficiency. |

The battery pack includes an edge beam, a first protective plate, a second protective plate, and a battery module, where the edge beam is formed in a ring shape, the edge beam has a first cavity inside, a first through hole is provided on a peripheral wall of the edge beam, and a first explosion-proof valve is provided in the first through hole; the first protective plate is arranged at an end of the edge beam in an axial direction and connected to the edge beam, and the first protective plate is configured to block the end of the edge beam in the axial direction and define a mounting space with the edge beam; the second protective plate and the first protective plate are arranged at the same end of the edge beam and connected to the edge beam, the second protective plate is located on a side of the first protective plate that is away from the mounting space, the second protective plate is spaced apart from the first protective plate to define a gas outlet channel, and the gas outlet channel connects the first cavity and the mounting space; and the battery module is arranged in the mounting space. The battery pack and power unit provided in the present application can effectively reduce the risks that other components inside the battery pack cannot be used normally and the entire battery pack experiences thermal runaway due to the thermal runaway of battery cells. |

The present application relates to the technical field of energy batteries, and discloses a cylindrical battery assembly method and a cylindrical battery. The assembly method includes the following steps: mounting a positive electrode column into a mounting hole in an insulating and sealing manner; arranging a riveting block inside a shell and connecting the riveting block to an outer circumference of a riveting bar of the positive electrode column; connecting a positive electrode current collector plate to a positive electrode tab of an electrode set; placing the electrode set with the positive electrode current collector plate into the shell, and clamping a boss into a groove; welding mating portions of a bottom surface of the groove and a top surface of the boss outside the shell; connecting a negative electrode current collector plate to a negative electrode tab of the electrode set and the shell, to introduce negative electrode current of the electrode set into the shell; and sealing and connecting a negative electrode cover plate to an opening of a second end surface of the shell. The mating between the top surface of the boss and the bottom surface of the groove increases a welding area, and decreases a thickness of the positive electrode column, thereby reducing welding difficulty, improving assembly efficiency, reducing contact internal resistance, increasing the current-carrying capacity of the battery, and improving product yield. The riveting block can increase structural strength of a positive electrode side of a battery cell. |

The battery includes: a shell having a first end and a second end that are arranged opposite, where the first end is configured as a first open end, an edge of the second end extends along a radial direction of the shell towards an axis direction of the shell to form an extension ring, a central area of the extension ring forms a second open end, and the second open end is smaller than the first open end; an electrode assembly mounted in the shell; a positive electrode cover plate arranged at the first end of the shell and fixedly connected to the shell to seal the first open end; a positive electrode column mounted on the positive cover plate in an insulating manner and electrically connected to a positive electrode of the electrode assembly; and a negative electrode cover plate arranged at the second end of the shell and electrically connected to a negative electrode of the electrode assembly, where the negative electrode cover plate is fixedly connected to at least a portion of the extension ring to seal the second open end. The present application changes conventional peripheral welding to top straight welding, achieving easy operation, high welding efficiency, good connection performance, large welding area, and good battery performance. |

The present application relates to the technical field of batteries, and discloses a battery and a battery pack. The battery includes a shell, an electrode set, and a negative electrode cover plate. The shell includes a bottom wall located at one end, and the bottom wall includes a bottom wall body and an elastic rib surface recessed inward from the bottom wall body; the electrode set is arranged in the shell, the electrode set is electrically connected to at least a portion of the elastic rib surface, and the elastic rib surface is suitable for elastic deformation along a height direction of the electrode set; the negative electrode cover plate is arranged on the elastic rib surface, and the electrode cover plate is connected to the shell. When the electrode set has a large manufacturing error in height, the elastic rib surface can compensate for the height of the electrode set to compensate for low height accuracy of the electrode set, thereby increasing product processing flexibility and improving product yield and performance. The electrode set is electrically connected to at least a portion of the elastic rib surface, thereby canceling a negative electrode connecting piece, reducing the quantity of components, greatly lowering product costs, simplifying an assembly process, and improving production efficiency, and achieving high market competitiveness. |

The present application relates to the field of lithium battery technology, and particularly to a battery pack. The battery pack includes a cell module, at least one thermal protection component, a plurality of support bars, a bottom plate, a housing, and a gas passage crossbeam. The bottom plate is connected to the housing such that the bottom plate and the housing together enclose an accommodation space. The bottom of the cell module is provided with at least one row of explosion-proof valves. The cell module is disposed on the thermal protection component, and each thermal protection component is disposed corresponding to one row of explosion-proof valves. The thermal protection component is disposed on the bottom plate with the support bars disposed on both sides of each thermal protection component. The cell module is disposed on the bottom plate via the support bars, such that two support bars disposed on both sides of the thermal protection component, the thermal protection component, and the bottom of the cell module together enclose an exhaust passage. The gas passage crossbeam is disposed on the bottom plate, and the exhaust passage is in communication with the gas passage crossbeam. The housing includes an exhaust portion, and the exhaust passage is in communication with the exhaust portion via the gas passage crossbeam. The battery pack of the present application improves the discharge speed of vent gas and achieves electrical and thermal separation within the battery pack. |

A sidewall perpendicular to the width direction (Y) is defined as a first sidewall (101), and a sidewall perpendicular to the thickness direction (Z) is defined as a second sidewall (102). The first sidewall is provided with a mounting hole (105) for mounting an explosion-proof valve (104). In the thickness direction, the mounting hole (105) is located at the center of the first sidewall (101). The first sidewall is connected to two adjacent second sidewalls via rounded corner walls (103). Each rounded corner wall (103) includes a first side and a second side. The distance from the first side of the mounting hole (105) to the corresponding first side of the rounded corner wall (103), and the distance from the second side of the mounting hole (105) to the corresponding first side of the rounded corner wall (103), are both defined as "C". The dimension of the case in the thickness direction is "B", and the dimension of the mounting hole in the thickness direction is "E", wherein 0.05B≤C≤0.20B, and 0.35B≤E≤0.70B. The case (100) of battery and battery of the present application solve the problem of inappropriate distance between the edge of the explosion-proof valve and the rounded corner wall after adjusting the pressure relief mechanism to the sidewall of the case body. |

The present application relates to the technical field of batteries, and discloses an explosion-proof valve, a battery, and a processing method for an explosion-proof valve. The explosion-proof valve includes: an explosion-proof valve body suitable for being arranged on a housing of a battery; a thinned area surrounding the circumference of the explosion-proof valve body, where the thickness of the thinned area is less than that of the explosion-proof valve body; an explosion rib arranged in the thinned area, where the thickness of the explosion rib is less than the thickness of the thinned area, and the explosion rib is suitable for breaking at a preset pressure value; and a plurality of pits spaced apart from each other in the thinned area and spaced apart from the explosion rib to reduce stress in the thinned area. When the gas pressure value inside the battery reaches the preset pressure value, the explosion rib first breaks to form an exhaust channel, facilitating the discharge of high-pressure gas inside the battery. The pits in the thinned area can destroy the crystal structure on the surface of the thinned area, thereby relieving some stress, solving the problem of high stress in the forming process of the explosion-proof valve, and preventing structural deformation or break. |
