A multi-stage water effect system. The system comprises a water ride vehicle comprising one or more water effect devices; a plurality of sensors configured to obtain feedback associated with an interaction between the water ride vehicle and one or more attraction features or other water-ride vehicles; a control system communicatively coupled to the one or more water effect devices of the water ride vehicle. The control system is configured to: receive feedback from at least one sensor of the plurality of sensors, the feedback indicating the water ride vehicle is within a threshold range of the one or more attraction features or other water-ride vehicles; select a stage of operation from a plurality of stages of operation, wherein the plurality of stages of operation comprises a first stage of operation associated with a first flow rate of fluid from the one or more water effect devices and a second stage of operation associated with a second flow rate of the fluid from the one or more water effect devices; and activate the one or more water effect devices of the water ride vehicle to provide a fluid flow based on the selected stage of operation. |

The system includes one or more processors configured to: receive a tracked target context for the first tracked object from the first tracking sensor system; provide the tracked target context from the first tracking sensor system to the second tracking sensor system; receive identification information identifying the user as the second tracked object from the second tracking sensor system, wherein the identification information is determined by the second tracking sensor system based on the second tracking sensor system receiving the tracked target context from the first tracking sensor system; identify a control action command for an interactive open environment feature based on the identification information identifying the user; instruct hardware configured to control the interactive open environment feature to implement the control action command based on the user being within an interactive distance away from the interactive open environment feature, wherein the interactive open environment feature is accessible by the user within the interactive distance; and update information associated with the user based on an interaction associated with the user and the interactive open environment feature, wherein the information is stored in a database. |
