Zusammenfassung
There is provided a payment network biometric authentication service for challenge-response authentication of a cardholder during a payment transaction. The service comprises: one or more processors; a memory storing instructions that, when executed by the one or more processors, cause the one or more processors to: receive notification of a challenge-response authentication request; send an authentication enabler to a challenge-response authentication server of a merchant; receive a challenge request for challenge-response authentication of the cardholder using the authentication enabler; perform biometric authentication of the cardholder to generate an authentication result; send the authentication result to an issuer access control server to decide whether to proceed with the payment transaction based on the authentication result; and send the authentication result to the merchant to approve or decline the payment transaction based on the authentication result. There is further provided a computer-implemented method, wherein the method is performed at a payment network biometric authentication service, for challenge-response authentication of a cardholder during a payment transaction. There is further provided a computer-implemented method, wherein the method is performed at a payment network biometric authentication service, for registration of a passkey for biometric authentication of a cardholder during a payment transaction. Further provided are corresponding computer program products. |

A computer-implemented method of providing a transaction proof for a transaction is described. This is performed in a payment device. A payor credential for the transaction is established. This payor credential is provided as ciphertext input to a format preserving encryption mechanism having a cryptographic key and a tweak. Transaction details for the transaction are provided as the tweak. The output of the format preserving encryption mechanism is obtained as the transaction proof. A computer-implemented method of establishing a secure token in a computing device of a cardholder having a secure computing environment and a general computing environment is described. A wallet service provider for the cardholder receives a request to tokenise a transaction credential for the cardholder for the cardholder computing device. The wallet service provider generates the secure token from the transaction credential according to a processing mechanism using an initialisation element. The wallet service provider then provisions the secure token to the secure computing environment of the computing device of the cardholder. Zusammenfassung
A computer-implemented instruction handling system for receiving a computer-implementable instruction from an instruction-generating computer in a data stream or a file stream format is described. The system is configured to extract, validate and route the instruction to a remotely-located instruction implementing computer in a format compatible with the instruction implementing computer. The system comprises: a data store storing a set of user-configurable workflows and rules for extracting, validating and routing the instruction to the instruction implementing computer; and a processor. The processor is configured by the workflows and rules to: determine a message state of the received instruction; the message state indicating a type of the instruction and any anomalies of the message which require rectification, and the degree to which the instruction has been validated; and use a specific workflow associated with the predetermined message state to: a) identify a predetermined service to be applied to the instruction in accordance with the corresponding workflow; b) retrieve and apply the service to the instruction in accordance with the workflow; c) record the results of applying the service to the instruction as feedback; d) determine if there are any more services to be applied in the specified workflow; and e) repeat Steps a) to e) until the message state of the instruction indicates that no further services are required to be applied to the instruction. The system further comprises an instruction transmitter configured to send the instruction to the instruction implementing computer in a data stream format or a file stream format compatible with the instruction implementing computer; and a message feedback engine configured to receive a response feedback message from the instruction implementing computer regarding success or failure in executing the instruction; the message feedback engine being configured to store the response feedback message; and transmit the response feedback message to the instruction generating computer. |

There is provided a method of making a plurality of anti-thermal propagation cell spacers for use in a multi-cell battery pack. The method comprises providing a web of base film extending in a longitudinal direction. The web of base film comprises a first side and a second side. The first side of the web of base film is covered with an adhesive layer. The method also comprises providing a first plurality of insulation pads. The first plurality of insulation pads comprise a top face, a base face, a front edge, a back edge, a left side, and a right side. The method further comprises attaching the base face of an insulation pad of the first plurality of insulation pads to the first side of the web of base film, such that a left base film strip and a right base film strip of the web of base film remain unattached to the insulation pad. The method further comprises folding the left base film strip over the left side and at least a portion of the top face of an insulation pad of the first plurality of insulation pads. The method also comprises folding the right base film strip over the right side and at least a portion of the top face of an insulation pad of the first plurality of insulation pads. The method further comprises providing a first web of lidding film extending in the longitudinal direction. The first web of lidding film comprises a first side and a second side. The first side of the first web of lidding film is covered with an adhesive layer. The method also comprises attaching the first side of the first web of lidding film to at least a portion of the top face of an insulation pad of the first plurality of insulation pads, wherein the first side of the first web of lidding film is also attached to at least a portion of the left base film strip and of the right base film strip. |
