The present disclosure relates to a window (4) and/or architectural covering (5) system (1) comprising a window (4) and/or architectural covering (5) and a control system (50, 50a, 50b) for operating the window or architectural covering. The control system (50, 50a, 50b) comprises at least one power consumption device (10a, 10b) comprising at least an electrically driven drive unit (10a) for controlling the setting of said window or architectural covering, and a power supply system (2) configured to power the at least one power consumption device (10a,10b). The power supply system (2) comprises: - a rechargeable battery (11) configured to store electric power and supply electric power to said at least one power consumption device (10a,10b), - at least one photovoltaic power supply panel (13a) arranged to charge the rechargeable battery unit (11), and - a Pulse Width Modulated (PWM) boost converter (14) for stepping up the output voltage from the at least one photovoltaic power supply panel (13a), and - a charging control system. The charging control system (3) is configured to control the charging of the rechargeable battery (11) and comprises a Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT) feature and a sleep mode function for power saving. The charging control system (3) is configured to be activated (Tact) from the sleep mode with an activation frequency (f act) to execute the Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT) feature. The present disclosure additionally relates to an electric, battery powered control system (50, 50a, 50b) for operating a window or architectural covering. |

A flashing element for a roof window and a method for making it is disclosed. It comprises a flashing member having a first leg configured to lie in plane with a roof surface in the mounted state, and a second leg configured to extend up along the outer side of an adjacent window frame member. It further comprises a third leg extending from an end of the second leg opposite from the first leg and in a direction opposite that of the first leg, the third leg being configured to cover an insulating member arranged between the second leg and the roof window. In order to give room for the mounting of accessories to the roof window, the height of the second leg at a first section of at least one flashing member is different from the height of the second leg at a second section of this flashing member. |

It further comprises an edge supporting rail and an edge gasket both extending on the interior side of the middle flashing member in parallel with a longitudinal edge. The edge gasket is located between the middle flashing member and the edge supporting rail in the mounted state. An end section extends beyond the middle flashing member in the length direction for engagement with the connector element. A method for weather-proofing a roof window arrangement is also disclosed. |

A sealing collar adapted for being mounted around a window frame mounted in an inclined roof of a building, said sealing collar comprising an inner portion and an outer skirt portion. The inner portion having top, bottom and side members, where said inner portion has an inner edge and an outer edge opposite the inner edge, where said inner edge defines an opening when the sealing collar is in the mounted condition. The inner portion is adapted for surrounding a window frame by the inner edge, where the top, bottom and side members of the inner portion are made from a substantially dimensionally stable material, and where shape and size of the opening substantially matches the shape and size of the window frame, when the sealing collar is in the mounted condition. The outer skirt portion having a delivery condition, where it is packed up and attached to a member of the inner portion, and an installed condition, where it is unpacked and extends over the inner portion and is attached to the inner portion, where said outer skirt portion is a waterproof membrane adapted for forming a waterproof transition to an underroof of the inclined roof. |
