The EDM bearing (120) comprises a housing (122) extending around a rotational axis (100X), the housing defining at least one lubricant port (130) connected to an outer circumference of the housing and extending radially to the rotational axis. An EDM flexing pivot pad (128) is machined from the housing (122), the EDM flexing pivot pad configured to provide support to a rotating shaft (110) rotating around the rotational axis (100X) in a first direction. The EDM flexing pivot pad (128) has a lubricant channel (134) aligned with the lubricant port (130). A leading-edge groove (140) is machined on an inner circumference (116) of the EDM flexing pivot pad (128) and in fluid communication with the lubricant channel (134), the leading-edge groove configured to deliver lubricant to the rotating shaft (110). A compressor system including the EDM bearing is also provided. |

The method further includes, while the head-wearable device is in the displayless state: (i) obtaining a second instruction, (ii) causing the head-wearable device to present a second response, based on the second instruction, at a speaker of the head-wearable device, and (iii) in response to a wake command, causing the head-wearable device to enter the display state. |

The second part (200) comprises a plurality of second fins (210) being at least partly circumferential and extending in an opposite axial direction of the rotary viscous brake (50). The plurality of first fins (110) and second fins (210) are arranged such that they are interleaved with each other and immersed by the liquid (400) for providing a damping torque when the first part (100) and the second part (200) rotate relatively to each other. There are at least two second fins (210) next to each circumferential first fin (110); and a thickness (220) of each of the second fins (210) is gradually increased from a thinner end (212) to a thicker end (214). |

A method for enhancing detection of fraudulent authentication data includes receiving, by an electronic device, data during an authentication transaction, computing a feature vector from the received data, and normalizing the feature vector. The method also includes encoding the normalized feature vector into qubits, expanding, using at least one quantum algorithm, the normalized feature vector into a high-dimensional space, and detecting in the high-dimensional space anomalies indicative of fraud based on the qubits. Furthermore, the method includes calculating, based on the detected anomalies, a confidence score reflecting a likelihood that the received data is genuine and comparing the confidence score against a threshold value. In response to determining the confidence score fails to satisfy the threshold value, the method determines that the received data requires secondary authentication. |
