Abstract

The device (1.0) has a main communication module (1.1) including an arbitration module (1.4) for arbitrating requests transmitted through a communication channel. A management device (1.5) includes a control module for selecting one of the requests received from secondary communication modules (1.3, 2.2) based on priority information about the requests, and a multiplexer for transmitting the selected query and the priority information to the arbitration module. A demultiplexer receives an arbitration decision regarding the selected query and transmits the decision to the secondary modules. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a method for managing transmission over a communication channel (2) a computer program for managing transmission over a communication channel (3) a storage device storing a computer program for managing transmission over a communication channel.
