Abstract

A DC to AC converter includes a first switch (S1), a second switch (S2), a first half bridge inverter (130), and a second half bridge inverter (140). The first switch (S1) includes a first terminal and a second terminal. The second switch (S2) includes a first terminal and a second terminal. A portion between the first terminal of the first switch and the first terminal of the second switch is operable to receive a direct current power source (DC). The first half bridge inverter (130) includes a first terminal, a second terminal, and an output terminal. The second half bridge inverter (140) includes a first terminal, a second terminal, and an output terminal. A portion between the output terminal of the first half bridge inverter (130) and the output terminal of the second half bridge inverter (140) is operable to output an alternative current.
