Abstract
A smoke detection system (10) comprises at least one smoke detector (12) which is installed in a first partial region (110) of a region (100) to be monitored by means of the smoke detection system (10). The smoke detection system (10) further comprises at least one fluid injection device (14) which is configured to inject a fluid into the region (100) to be monitored by means of the smoke detection system (10) in a direction of at least one smoke detector (12) such that in an emergency case, when smoke (116) is present in a second partial region (112) of the region (100) to be monitored the smoke (116) is transported to the at least one smoke detector (12).
