Abstract

The present invention refers to a method for detecting, from a user equipment comprising optical detection means, an interactive device in a near-field environment of a central station, the said method comprising the following steps: - positioning an electronic beacon on the interactive device, the said electronic beacon comprising optical means capable of emitting an optical signal and radio-frequency communication means configured for communicating with the central station, - configuring the central station with functions of the interactive device associated with the electronic beacon, when the user equipment enters a near-field environment of the central station, - establishing a radio-frequency communication between the user equipment and the central station, - transmitting from the central station to the user equipment, the functions of the interactive device associated with the electronic beacon and an identification of the electronic beacon, - upon request from the user equipment to the central station to detect the interactive device, sending a command from the central station to the electronic beacon for emitting an optical signal corresponding to the identification of the interactive device, - detecting, by the optical detection means of the user equipment, an optical signal emitted by the electronic beacon and corresponding to the identification of the interactive device, - attributing the functions transmitted by the central station and associated with the identified electronic beacon to the interactive device associated with the detected electronic beacon.
