Abstract

A robot system (1) includes a robot (10), a storage (22), an authenticator (21a), a determinator (21c), and an instructor (21d). The robot (10) shares a workspace with a worker (M). The storage (22) stores authentication information (22a) of the worker (M). The authenticator (21a) determines, while the worker (M) is approaching the workspace, whether the worker (M) is a registered worker based on the authentication information (22a). When the worker (M) is authenticated as a registered worker, the determinator (21c) determines a new operation area and a new operation speed of the robot (10) in accordance with a type of work and a work experience of the worker (M), which are identified when the worker (M) is authenticated as a registered worker. The instructor (21d) instructs the robot (10) to operate based on the new operation area and the new operation speed of the robot (10).
