Abstract

A receptacle assembly comprises a contact module (122) including a holder (154) having a first side (160) and an opposite second side (162). The holder (154) holds a frame assembly (212) that includes a plurality of contacts (124) and a dielectric frame (214) supporting the contacts (124). A first ground shield (176) is coupled to the first side (160) of the holder (154) and a second ground shield (178) is coupled to the second side (162) of the holder (154). The first and second ground shields (176, 178) have grounding beams (184, 186) extending forward of the holder (154) for electrical connection to a corresponding header contact (146) of a header assembly (104). The first and second ground shields (176, 178) have ground skewers (196, 198) extending into the holder (154) and the frame assembly (212). The ground skewers (196, 198) of the first and second ground shields (176, 178) are engaged with each other to electrically connect the first and second ground shields (176, 178).
