Abstract

A board edge connector (1) to which a board (3) is inserted along an oblique direction relative to its fixed posture includes a main body (10), a plurality of contacts (11) arranged in juxtaposition on the main body (10) along a direction perpendicular to an insertion direction of the board (3), and a cover member (20) covering the main body (10). The main body (10) includes a base portion (12) on which the multiple contacts (11) are juxtaposed and a pair of arm portions (13) extending from the base portion (12) along opposed lateral edges of the board (3) which assumes a fixed posture. The cover member (20) includes an attaching portion (21) covering the base portion (12) and a pair of arm members (22) covering lateral faces of the pair of arm portions (13), the pair of arm members (22) being formed integral with the attaching portion (21).
