Abstract
The present invention concerns a device for use in an aircraft fuel pressure sensor line (28, 30). More particularly, but not exclusively, this invention concerns a fuel pressure sensor line (28, 30) connecting an aircraft fuel pump (22) to a pressure sensor (26). The invention also concerns a fuel pressure sensor line reservoir (24) for use with a sensor line (28, 30) connecting an aircraft fuel pump (22) to a pressure sensor (26). An aircraft fuel pump system comprises an aircraft fuel pump (22) and a pressure sensor (26) connected to the aircraft fuel pump (22) via a sensor line (28, 30). The sensor line (28, 30) includes a reservoir (24) located between the aircraft fuel pump (22) and the pressure sensor (26). The reservoir (24) acts to prevent liquid contacting the pressure switch when the fuel pump (22) is not active.
