Abstract

The apparatus has a fixed part and a movable part (3). The fixed part is intended to be fastened to a wall, and includes an electrical switchgear mechanism, and an LED for generating a light flux. The moving part includes a base (7), an optical unit (8), and a reflector for directing the flow of light to the optical unit. A connecting unit (9) connects the movable part to the fixed part so that the movable part is rotatable relative to the fixed part at its base. The connecting unit includes a ring (10) forming a pivot connection with a cover (15) of the fixed part. An independent claim is also included for an assembly of an electric lighting apparatus and a recessed housing.
