Abstract
Embodiments relate to a concept for providing a virtual light-barrier by means of receiving (202), from geographical location tracking system (102), location information (114) indicative of a geographical location of a tracked object (104) or a position tag (110) attached thereto; and determining (204), based on a comparison of the location information (114) with predetermined information (126) indicative of a boundary (128), whether at least a part of the object (104) has crossed the boundary (128).
