Abstract

An image forming apparatus (1) includes an operating section (5). The operating section (5) projects forward from an upper housing (200C) of the image forming apparatus (1). The operating section (5) includes an input section (5B) and a display section (50). The input section (5B) is for receiving input of image forming information. The display section (50) is disposed adjacent to the input section (5B) and displays the image forming information thereon. A position of the display section (50) is switchable between a first position and a second position. The first position is where the display section (50) is flush with the input section (5B). The second position is where the display section (50) is tilted forward more than the input section (5B), by turning the display section (50) on a front edge side (51A) of the display section (50) as a pivot to raise a rear edge side (51B) of the display section (50) upward from the first position.
