Abstract

To prevent a solder connecting part from being cracked by a temperature change in a case where an electronic component is also mounted by soldering, provided is an antenna coil component including a bobbin around which a winding is wound, a base provided at least at one end side of the bobbin, and one or more metal terminals (40A, 40B, 42) each fixed to the base, at least one metal terminal (40A, 40B) among these metal terminals (40A, 40B, 42) including a fixing part (100) for fixing the metal terminal (40A, 40B) to the base, a mounting part (110) provided at a position away from the fixing part (100), and a neck part (120) for connecting the fixing part (100) and the mounting part (110) to each other. The neck part (120) hasalength (W) in a direction substantiallyorthogonal to a direction from the fixing part (100) to the mounting part (110) and substantially parallel to front and rear surfaces of the mounting part (110), which is narrower than that of the mounting part (110). Provided as well are an antenna unit using the antenna coil component, and a method of manufacturing the antenna coil component.
