Abstract

A pneumatic tire 1 comprises a tread portion 2 provided with axial grooves 3 extending between tread edges Te. Between every two of the axial grooves 3, there are disposed two connecting grooves 4 and one circumferential groove 5 therebetween so as to define two shoulder blocks 13 and two trapezoidal crown blocks 12 therebetween whose axial width is gradually decreases toward the intended tire rotational direction N. on each side of the tire equator C, the axially outer ends 12e of the crown blocks 12 are positioned axial outside the axially inner ends 13i of the shoulder blocks 13.
