Abstract

A connector (1) includes a connector body; a first sleeve (9) rotatably coupled to the connector body (2); a second sleeve (8) receiving the first sleeve (9) and being movable axially between an engaged position and a disengaged position, the second sleeve (8) having a plurality of teeth (13) extending from a surface thereof; a ratchet ring (4) positioned on the connector body (2), the ratchet ring (4) having a plurality of teeth (12) corresponding to the plurality of teeth (13) of the second sleeve; and a biasing member (10) biasing the second sleeve (8) to the engaged position, wherein the teeth (12) of the ratchet ring (4) engage the teeth (13) of the second sleeve (8) when the second sleeve (8) is in the engaged position, and the teeth (13) of second sleeve (8) being spaced from the teeth (13) of the ratchet ring (4) when the second sleeve (8) is in the disengaged position.
