Abstract

A terminal box that stably and surely provides a required length of play in an output line (600), and a method of connecting the output line (600). The terminal box includes a terminal strip (200) connected to the output line (600), and a main body (100) housing the terminal strip (200). The terminal strip (200) includes a connecting portion (220) electrically connected to the output line (600), and a play producing portion (210). The play producing portion (210) has an opening (230) receiving the output line (600). The main body (100) includes a receiving hole (112) formed at a position corresponding to the opening (230) for receiving the output line (600). The play producing portion (210) inclines relative to the connecting portion (220) by a first angle (A) with the output line (600) being inserted through the receiving hole (112) and the opening (230) to be connected to the connecting portion (220), and by a second angle smaller than the first angle (A) with the output line (600) being connected to the connecting portion (220).
