Abstract

When a panel for an aluminum fuel tank that forms a part of the appearance of a straddled vehicle is formed by press-molding, wrinkles generated at an outer surface of the panel are reduced. The fuel tank (30) in the straddled vehicle (100) has a panel (41) that is produced by press-molding using a sheet of an aluminum-based material and forms a space (31) for storing fuel. The panel (41) has a first region (A1) that is covered with covers (22, 23) and a seat (19) in a side view and a plan view of the straddled vehicle (100) and a second region (A2) that is not covered with the covers (22, 23) and the seat (19) and is visible in the appearance of the straddled vehicle (100) in a side view and a plan view of the straddled vehicle (100). The second region (A2) includes a concave surface (53A) at an outer surface (45), convex surfaces (54A) and (54B) adjacent to the concave surface (53A) at the outer surface, and a bent part (56A) that at least partly overlaps the concave surface (53A) and is formed in a recessed or raised shape at the outer surface (45) of the concave surface (53A).
