Abstract

An embodiment relates to a device for optimizing coexistence between communication signals sent over communication lines. A first set of the communication lines is configured to interoperate according to a first communication standard in a first frequency range and a second set is configured to interoperate according to a second communication standard in a second frequency range overlapping with the first frequency range. The device first determines (331) coupling information indicative for an influence of second communication signals sent over the second set on first communication signals sent over the first set, then it estimates (332) an adapted Power Spectral Density or PSD for the second communication signals in the overlapping frequency range wherein an influence of the second communication signals according to this adapted PSD on the first communication signals does not change a performance of the first standard. Finally, it applies (333) the adapted PSD to communication signals sent over the second set.
