Abstract

A pneumatic tire includes a carcass extending between bead cores of bead portions through a tread portion and a pair of sidewall portions. The tire section width Wt (unit: mm) in relation to a bead diameter Db (unit: inch) satisfies the following equations (1) and (2). Wt ‰¤ ˆ’ 0.7257 × Db 2 + 42.763 × Db ˆ’ 339.67 Wt ‰¥ ˆ’ 0.7257 × Db 2 + 48.568 × Db ˆ’ 552.33 The tread portion includes a tread pattern including three rib-shaped land portions separated by two longitudinal grooves, and the land ratio of the tread pattern is not less than 85%.
