Abstract

A method for scheduling a service in a wireless telecommunication network in a point-to-multipoint transmission for multiple user equipment devices within a cell of the network, respective ones of the user equipment devices being in a radio resource control connected state or idle state, the method comprising providing scheduling information for the service to at least one of the respective ones of the user equipment devices as part of or together with a radio network temporary identifier transmitted over a control channel of the network, the scheduling information comprising at least one predefined subsequent scheduling instance of the service.
