Abstract

A printing cylinder (17) includes a plurality of suction chambers (61 - 63) and a masking sheet (68) configured to cover the suction chambers (61 - 63). The masking sheet (68) includes a non-sucking portion (75, 76) which protrudes from the boundary of the suction chambers (61 - 63) toward the inside of the suction chambers (62, 63). A number of through holes (73) are formed in a portion except for the non-sucking portion (75, 76) in the masking sheet (68). The non-sucking portion (75) exists between the sheet (4) to be printed and the boundary of the suction chamber (62) to be used and the suction chamber (61) not to be used. This can prevent an ink mist from adhering to the printing cylinder (17).
